That is definately an atlifons, just not a Geophagus. Look up A. Altifrons and I believe you will find your fish.

what is the genus? when i type A. Altifrons in on google all i get is "Here is A geophagus altifrons":ROFL::screwy:


and by the way peter said it wasn't G. Altifrons:D he could've known it was an altifrons just not a geo

I'm thinking it just slipped his mind a touch. Plus I had to take the chance to tease a little since I sold him some astatheros altifrons a few weeks ago.

Yes, to me it looks like a juvy Astatheros altifrons ... which is a Central American sifter species, but not an eartheater (Geophagine).
