New Green Terror!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Wow, beautiful GT. I'd love to see some more pictures.

Glenbo, where are you getting this information about Andinoacara? I googled and found nothing. I thought all Green terrors, false and true, were Aequidens?

Calling a gold saum a "false" green terror is stupid.

It's called a common name for a reason.

I'd be happy to oblige!

(Hubby just bought a new camera LOL we've got multiple pics of every critter in the house!)

Oh, sorry about the filthy glass... guess we could have taken that extra step.

That thing is great. I saw a monster GT at a fish store a few months ago, I didn't bother asking about it because they probably wanted something ridiculous like $200 for it.

Plus it could have eaten my current GT.

Rivulatus,Golds and Silvers were reclassified in May I think along with Blue Acaras and sub species (Pulcher,Latifrons etc) from Aequidins to Andinoacara

Agreed...but i didn't make the rules up.

But saying that Silver Saums are much more common in the UK.

Golds and Silvers are still classed as falses....don't shoot the messenger ;)

Outstanding. IMO, he's easily one of the nicest GTs I've seen in quite some time.

There are no scientific rules or regulations for common names. They are what they are, you can't reclassify a common name.
