when i wrote my post i only saw the second and third pictures for some reason so i was saying that the second pic is female and the third pic is male and if the first pic and the third are the same fish then its male, back when i had my pair my female actually had some nice tinting to her body scales and she looked very good for a female but it still wasnt nearly as iridescent as the male's scales and when they were separated this coloring went away and she looked like a normal female again but she never had the design within her fins and she had more blue bearding as well
