"Keep these fish at the usual tropical temperature range of 24-28C/75-82F. Fairly soft to hardwater, with a pH around neutral or slightly alkaline, is fine for the freshwater species, but hard and alkaline or preferably brackish conditions should be provided for D. campbelli and quadrifasciatus.

The actual level of salt used is not critical, but a specific gravity of 1.005 (achieved with marine salt) is a good starting point.

Maintain water quality with frequent water changes. High levels of nitrates and other wastes are likely to cause a reluctance to feed and a loss of condition. These fish are intolerant of ammonia and nitrite, so do not add them to uncycled or immature tanks."

Google is your friend! :D

Anyone who can tell me how they work together ? will 3 fight? all equal size. ive cheked the forum and diffrent opinions .

i have 11 datnoid altogether in one tank. ive had no problem just minor pecking but no damage. but putting 2 ngt together will cause problems. should be ok if you leave it with other datnoids. just maintain good diet so it doesnt eat smaller fishes.

Like i said i will probally be getting 3 of them. ive heard that 2 dats usally dont work.

NGT may be different. You can keep other multi species together, but there can only be 1 NGT in one tank.

I have 3 ST's, 12 IT's, 2 NTT's and only 1 NGT. in one tank.
