You could still remove some males because once the male stud muffins have 'finished' with 1 female, they move straight onto the next.

success one of my guppys has had babys so far ive counted 15 that have survived

Start off by feeding all the males to the gar,just keep 2.net the fry out of the main tank to a growout tank.

it maybe a good idea to have more female than male for guppies and lots of plants to hide in if temp. and water conditions are good your sure to have a tank full soon!

thats for sure 1 male to 4 females is perfect a female can spawn somwhere between 3 to 5 times on a males sperm so imagine him getting to all of them no need to over do it but if you like colorful males by all means just know that in a few months they will be comming back out due to lack of space.... good luck breding is so much more fun than just keeping
