Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

I will sort out the different food this week. Yeah i do need to get them in a bigger tank. There not cramped in this one everyone has there own little space and so far no really confrontation.

Steve i live quite close to a few aquariums which arent to bad theres a maiden head, universal water and world of water. I do try and get to pier aquatics whenever i can. i went on friday but they just had ornates. Have you been in recently? They have the biggest fire eel i have ever seen its HUGE!! Also ive tried at daves aquarium they had endli and delhezi.

What size tank do you guys think is a good size im looking at 5x2x2 but anyother suggestions is appreciated.

5x2x2 is a good start. The length is sufficient but I would get one with a larger width like 2.5' incase some of your bichir decided to grow more than the average length. It's not really a must since bichirs are so called "bendy" and able to turn even if they are 2', though the additional width would make it easier for them.

How long do you think a 5x2x2 would last until i would need to look at somthing bigger? If its not very long i may as well just get somthing bigger.

Your ornate is a sweet little cutie and I love your endli's goggly eyes. As for tank size, most of them are able to fit in a 5x2x2 for life. The increase in width is just my personal preference as I heard of some rare occasion where ornates get larger than 2' long. But they are usually max out at 18-24"

Cool pictures. I'm new here too. I have a 6" senegal that's got to be my favorite fish in my tank. I'm constantly amazed how much personality it seems to have and I'm really excited to try to train mine to hand feed.

Mine seems to like the hikari sinking carnivore pellets a lot but he's absolutely nuts for the frozen bloodworms. He'll bite into the ball and do an "alligator roll" to tear it apart.

Oh yah, and he's also crazy about live minnows! The only real struggle I have is that the bala sharks and Pictus cats that he's in with are much more agressive feeders (which is part of my inspiration for trying to hand feed) and it's always a bit of a challenge to make sure he gets his fair share at feeding time.

Awesome collection. I like your tank, very nice aquascaping you got there.

nice pics and welcome
