Also with a 210, I am assuming I should have a center brace? There was not one with the original black trim, but I might add two braces in the center just for issurance.

Here is a couple more shots of the powerhead filter mod. I'd assume this has been done 1000x's over but here it is again.
Simply a water bottle with some slices cut into it to allow particles to go in, also I cut a slice large enough so that I can fill it with filter material.
I heat the threaded part quickly with a torch lighter and slide it over the conical portion of the powerhead.
This is the material I use. Bought it at Walmart for 3.75. Make sure to not get the mildew treated stuff. I also picked up some nylon mesh and use that as somewhat of a prefilter etc.
