A very, very large enclosure. This species of lizard will reach around 5 maybe even 6 feet long. It will need a full sized bedroom, minimum 10x10 with tons of climbing places and a pond to keep him well. They are very smart animals so cage size also helps with mental stimulation, something much forgotten when keeping an animal.

I have an 18' x 12' courtyard that he will be going in once he reaches that size. I was also planning on letting him free roam the house with a "home base" enclosure with a water bowl and basking spot but I will leave the door open on it similar to how I keep my Iguana.
I will admit that this was an impulse buy but I am no slouch when it comes to giving my animals proper care and space.

Now thats my kind of impulse buy! lol At least you seem to be one of the rare people that can actually take care of an impulse buy like that. He looks great..someday ill have one. Good luck with him, I look forward to pics of him growing up =)
