The EBA could still work.
I keep a several of them In a 220 with Geophagus winemilleri.
They work well to add color and activity higher up in the tank.
The Geos tend to stay nearer the bottom sifting sand occasionally.

Ordered the 90 gallon today. Trying to decide whether to bite the bullet and buy the LFS stand for $500 or make my own. The LFS stand is very nicely made with 2x4 framing and all pine wood with soft closed doors but seems expensive. Hmmm...

I use 90’s as sumps. But yeah, little tank like that you should save a couple bucks and build your own stand. Then save up for a big boy tank ?

Would love to see pics of your tanks. Unfortunately for me 90 is about the biggest I can fit in my Florida house.

Just when one gets the largest tank one can manage, somebody comes as says that’s what they use as a finger washing basin. It is all relative - To what one can manage, wants to manage, space limitations, time available, and spouses’ interests and views.
A 90g is a very nice tank, with a very nice footprint. Congrats.

Forgot to add. Better to build your own stand. Or hit Craigslist and improve a cheaply available one.
