what were the gymnos sold as? I have the same fish from john orton and he called them yerbalitos. they came from spencer jack.

Quilero and yerbalito are the same fish. Felipe has them labled as Quilero on his site. I assume Spencer calls them yerbalito due to the collection location. I prefer the name quilero because there is less confusion with the labiatus blue yerbalito. As long as they are labled gymnogeny or labiatus I don't guess it really matters though.

I believe the ones you have came from Spencer as well Sean. I might be remembering wrong but I think Ken picked them up at the convention. I'm sure he could tell you though.

Wow that is a score, you have to get me one and ship it to me. amazing fish, can't wait till they grow up. I am thinking about redoing a few of my tank but it is going to be a hard decision.
