Nice Endo..... Looks real formiliar...LOL
Really Nice Though!!!

Alright yeah I'm getting worried after you said that he's just a bgjd, anyone else have any opinions? I bought them both from the same seller at the same time. Both were clearly ebjd looking babies. Here they are as youngins still before the fighting started

A friend of mine had one do that start out looking just like a EBJD than all of a sudden turned really dark like that and looked more like a BG... after he removed the other JD out of the tank it colored back up, I think it is breeding colors.... it may color back up... but i''d say it's a EBJD from the pic's...
Also I'm not an expert just a guy with some fish

They are bot hybrids ebjd...ask Alejandro worked with Vector in Argentina. Ormed line is also in several places not just rick course line....ebjd can look like ref standard..look at all things Dempsey Coles Hong Kong line...Sony believe what ever one says research it our

Stupid cell phone ....ebjd are not hybrids. Not one shred of proof of this. Ebjd can look like standard Jack but be blue jack. For reference go to all things Dempsey look at Cole's "Hong Kong line ". Do your research before believing what others say. Ormed line is rick coye line and others breeders have that stock. Not just specific to rick

Very cool
Lead20,I hope you know yours is a blue gene jack dempsey, not an electric blue.
Still a stunner :)

Lets see some more EBjD juvies! Cutest fish when young IMO

Endo...lead20's JD is not necessarily a "blue gene JD". there are no physical differences between a wild type JD and a gene carrier. Its a recessive gene. If I had to guess I'd say he's the proud (unaware)owner of a galaxy JD.

Sure, all I knew was that it is not an EBjD.
Enough talk, lets see some more electric blues! Preferably juvys :D

That would be awesome if he was a galaxy JD I have seen them before as adults and they are sweet looking fish. It's just strange how I got a galaxy looking Dempsey and ebjd from one order haha. Here's another pic of the galaxy's ebjd brother. Thanks again for the info!
