new hepsetus odoe

i picked up a hepsetus odoe on saturday. he was a little beat up at the shop but the guy gave me a deal so i cudnt resist. hes been kind of listless and hasnt eaten yet, is this a good sign? i know i shud give him time to settle in but im getting worried now. heres some pics

That is a tiny little odoe!

Wouldn't be concerned if he doesn't eat for a day or two. He needs some time to settle in.

Turn off the tank lights and give him some time and he'll likely settle in faster.
 
Doesn't look good his fins are tight against his body...he floats to the top and doesn't swim much...i dont think hes gunna make it...i think he was too beat up from the lfs but it was worth the try.. i never see these guys for sale in socal...always only on the east coast

i got him from tom's tropical fish...it was the last one there...he was selling them for $70 but i got him to lower it down to $50...
