Fin rot might also happen AFTER the odoe got chewed up. Add some aquarium salt. your odoe is stressed from the new tank. It'll adjust in a few days. It seems awfully thin. Good luck.
 
There is no need for melefix. i've actually heard it's actually garbage! Right now, melefix is causing the fish more harm than good. odoes are pretty sensitive to meds-especially the small weak ones. Salt and gentle WC is your best bet. Turn off the lights of your tank for at least a week. The brightness can also be stressing it out.
 
The odeos can be kinda finicky about water quality. Make sure the water is good. If he's floating near the top like that that may not be good. They can be really annoying to get eating. It takes awhile. I might try something live, maybe worms or fish of some sort, especially if he's that thin. Let me know how he does. They are one of my favorite fish.
 
That's sad he didn't make it. Silver tooth fish are fairly sensitive. I hope you have better luck with your next one!
