I am New here and really new to the hobby of keeping monster fish. Its obvius I have alot to learn. My current setup is a 125 gallon with an emporer bio-wheel,rena filstar and under gravel filter. It is stocked with a 20" silver arrowana,2-6" Jack Dempseys,2-4" black convicts,2-4-5" blue acara,2-7" salvini,2-8" green sevrum,2-7" yellow svrum,1-7" green terror,1-18" tire track eel,1-6" clown knife,1-6" striped rapheal,1-6" eclipse catfish,2-10" plecos.Any suggestrions on if im overcrowded? It seems they are all very compatible and get along well.I can post pics if anyone is interested.

pics would be nice

sounds just a little overcrowded  , the aro should be in a 180g really, and alot of those others maybe get a little more aggressive the bigger they get, i would look for a bigger tank for your aro and some of the others, most of what you have will exceed a foot in length. AND POST SOME PICS!!! :grinyes:

I'd say your way overstocked

How long have you had this crowded set up. Have you got any pics. Just curious on your set up and pets.

Thanks

Welcome to MFK!!!

Like other have said, the tank is overcrowded and the aro should have a bigger tank or you could look at trying to sell him on here. I am sure that you wouldn't have any problem finding a buyer on here.

We always love to see pics. Post some up whenever you can.

How wide is the 125g? If it is one of the 24" wide tanks then you can get away with it for a bit longer but I also think that a few of the fish will need larger tanks or at least another 125 (wide). By the way, welcome to MFK.

Thaks for the input and advice. The tank is 5 ft long x 18 inches deep.I havent had any problems yet with agressiveness but i have had fears of that happening.Oddly the tank looks empty even with all them in it i do plan another tank maybe 250 gallon after i remodle my basement .I will post pics this week
