I recently joined this forum and have learned a lot in the past few days! I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself! My son and I currently have a 20 gallon fish tank with 3 zebra danios, 1 blue gourami, 1 gold gourami, 1 albino bristlenose pleco, and 2 apple(I think?) snails. We are in the process of getting a 40 gallon tank set up which the gouramis will go into. Any suggestions on setting up a 40 gallon tank? Also will the 40 gallon tank be sufficient for the gouramis? Would a 5 gallon tank be big enough for the 3 zebra danios? The 40 gallon tank will be put in our basement(finished) and my son would still like to keep a tank in his room. The 20 gallon is going to my mom in exchange for the 40 gallon. I feel like 5 gallons would not be big enough for the danios as they seem to like zooming around their tank lol. What kind of fish would be happy in a 5 gallon tank? My son is 4 and just enjoys having a tank in his room but certainly does not need any fancy fish. I'll work on getting some pictures of our set up now. Hope to get to know you all a little better!
