The problem is ...nipping starts and all is still okay... but eventually it wears down the knife and stress sets in and then other health issues become a factor.. i don't think it is the other knife either ... i blame it completely on the africans... yes they both are trying to take over the same cave or hiding place... and eventually somebody will lose...so please watch carefully because the day may be coming up that you will need to separate your BGK's from that african tank.. the only other fish that can take a tank load of africans is a synodontis cats... plecos and other slower moving fish just cannot compete.. so i hope it works out for you... and no i only feed non-live food.. everything live is a introduction to disease unless you quarenteen and or raise them yourself... mine eats cichlid pellets, krill, shrimp and blood worms..
