Update i have put it in the tank and i bought a second one with a more pearly fins oh and also added two little white convicts just for my sister. I also found out that they are trimac x red devil are they still counted as flower horns? Also trying to get another more high quality one from another fish shop hope i find one.

oh k another update still waiting for them to settle in also today added a 4'' jag unsexed and a possible pair of salvinis the supposed male is about 5-6 cm and the supposed female is about 4

You have just made my mind up that i'm going to get a flowerhorn as well. I'm in the same situation as you. There is two at the LFS. They are low grade for sure, but it will be interesting to see how it turns out. I maybe will get two but we will see.
I hope mine turn out to be as good as yours. I am liking your even if they are low grade LOL
