the room temp is probably going to be cold, its going in a basement in cny, need some good heating, lol.

That tub would be super easy to drill for a sump. Go with a submerged pump (they put off heat), and 2 or 3 300 watt heaters in the sump. Cover the pond and sump to keep the heat in.
 
your right, it would be easy to drill for overflows, i have a 55 gallon, i can make into a wet/dry, nylon scrubbies

thats where i get all my stealths, i have 4 of em. I price match em, there a lot cheaper that way, its an amazing deal, lol, it almost feels like stealing when i go there and buy stuff that i have price matched, lol

if your talking about the 55 gallon wet/dry, i sure have dr.joe, thats where i got the idea to build my first wet/dry

lol i price matched my stealths and an emperor 400 (76.99,got it for 45.84 with tax!)
