Knote - Can you toss up some links to IDing based off pores???

I imagine there's some sort of master index explaining how many pores the individual species have???

This pic sums up the pores issue. If u care not to read that whole article.

Ok, so after looking at the pics in the first link I can't help but think these are the Malaguazas........

I saw no mention of pore count but jawlines look spot on, the reddish coloring, the hunch back.......

Here's screenshot for the pore counts. It was in a table.

Nice name for these....malaguazas!

Interesting. Thank you for sharing this. Another fish to look out for when IDing lol

For me its a twist in the knickers.
How can we be sure that correct I'd is done when new species are poping up occasionally.
Although I like that red wold fish quite nice.

We can't be sure......

You could have an endless supply of money and still never end up with the wolves you want. I've bought like 15 just trying to get a few Lacs and have failed.

None of the vendors want to place any kind of names on them and risk being wrong.

At first it was kind of fun, but when you realize you've spent a bunch of money on potential future feeders it makes you kind of sad that nobody enjoys these fish enough to even attempt to combat the confusion.
