I totally agree with you. I am/was getting ready for a new wolf fish but now needs to rethink. We can't be sure......
You could have an endless supply of money and still never end up with the wolves you want. I've bought like 15 just trying to get a few Lacs and have failed.
None of the vendors want to place any kind of names on them and risk being wrong.
At first it was kind of fun, but when you realize you've spent a bunch of money on potential future feeders it makes you kind of sad that nobody enjoys these fish enough to even attempt to combat the confusion.
Knote - Mbiguas aren't on the chart......
How many pores for these guys?
I don't think you need to worry much. Get pics and compare and that's the best advice.I totally agree with you. I am/was getting ready for a new wolf fish but now needs to rethink.
You think same applies to Aimara ?
I think it's definitely plausible but I'm skeptical if I'm not familiar with something. Such as this species which was just describedAimara are super easy to ID, just like Curus.
Most Aimara you can tell solely by the size of the eye if it's a lil guy.
So- The million dollar question..... Does anyone disagree---- Iguaza/Red Lac/ CF Panara Lac ARE indeed Mbigua?????
+1 and let us know about he collection points if you find out I remember before I was a me,bet I read a thread about so misiones being soldGotta go back and take another look at all the pics and jaw shots.
