If you do a rubbermaid 300 gal stock tank, take measurements very carefully. I bought one a number of years back, and couldn't fit it thru my stairwell, and it ended up outside.
It fit thru the door easily, but couldn't get it thru where the basement ceiling, floor and door opening met.
I just picked up a 500 gal intex pool for overwintering my pond fish (about $100), and find the goofy color pattern affords seeing the fish much easier than the normal stock tank grey, which allows fish to blend in and disappear.
These fish are Uruguayan cichlids and simply disappear under normal colors, the goldfish are still outside, but will be brought in soon.
