That’s so cool. Is there any way to assist colouring? Maybe something with diet or????....

My pup got really washed out, I assume because of the white sand I have.

No i think it all comes down to genetics.

How are these 2 new rays doing? I'd love to see an update and hear about their grown/personalities so far.

How are these 2 new rays doing? I'd love to see an update and hear about their grown/personalities so far.

They are doing great. Always hungry and looking for food. The female grows quite slow compared to the male but then again the male has motorogenes.

The male is always glassurfing and the female is always flying around huffing and puffing in the substrate. Have been little discbiting from both rays but nothing to serious.

Just got this little fella home today.
mother wc castexi
father wc henlei.

Cant wait to grow him out. Starting to get hen rings around his spots and bellyspots starting to show up. Hopefully he will become really dark since his mother was almost black. Was one out of three pups that was born. Two stillborn females and this little guy. Unfortunatly his mother passed away a couple months after he was born.
