Ryan's ray is flattend out which may make it look like like it's eye's are different your ray is cupped upwards hence !! it lookin different !

Its definately not a histrix though, the eyes are different regardless of how its sat on the sand. Looks like a Peruvian ray of some sort.

Hey don't apologise mate, I only know because I've owned a few histrix amongst other rays

I see in your sig that you have a number of Ray's including one i'd very much like Leopoldi how much do they go for in the UK ? and did you get your from an LFS or a breeder ?

They are rare as hens teeth at the minute because the Brazilians have placed export restrictions on them so I'd expect to pay between £400-500 for one.
Before they were restricted though you could pick up a 5" one for about £175 if u shopped around
