New indoor ray pond........

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Turns out im gonna need another heater, my poor 250 watt aint cutting it. It can only get it up to 72 degrees.

One of my freinds came over to check out the ray pond, he said i should put white sand in the bottom so you caould see them better. I guess its not a totally bad idea cause the male does like to bury himself from time to time. I just dont like the thought of having to keep the sand clean. Also i think thye kind of lose their color with ****e sand.

What do you guys think? Sand or no sand?

unless your keeping black rays, i dont see how white sand will make you see them better. maybe black sand?

Motoro always attain their best colour when kept on a pale substrate.
If you keep them on a black bottom/substrate for any length of time the orange in their ocelli nearly disapears & the black outer ring takes over.

I didnt know that either, i still dont know though, i like it the way it is because its easy to clean.
