go through my archives and I do not, the big difference I see is banding, the stripes on yours, and the head, more rounded. less a fox face. jags keep a heavy band whither female or male well into the 5 to 6" range. again i could be wrong, this would be nothing new. my male is honduras and my female costa rican. there are other strains out there that may account for yours, and again with tank breeds problem is, who knows?
this why I wanted wild caught. no guess work.

The color on mine does vary through the day and during/after feedings. I try to get some more pictures.

When you say "heavy band" do you mean the horizontal stripe or the vertical stripes?

vertical. these can fade some what look washed out per say but always present. darker on females. less so on males. get a pic when not stressed or in flight mode. if you can,
