you will never get the correct awnser on these jag sex threads. i read just about everyone that comes up and its usually 50 percent one way and 50 the other. i guess female but im not sure. good luck

Now he is about 7" and turned out to be a male for sure .

I had a rescue female jag about 3-4" which I kept by herself in another tank in the last 2 months. Last sunday I moved her to his tank. It took them about a day to pair up and choose a location in the tank and on Tuesday when I came home there were about 200+ eggs on the bogwood .

Last night I moved about 2/3 of the wigglers to a small fry tank and left the others with the parents.
