I don't know what got into the owner. I think they were changing out their show tanks. He was in a tank with a huge knife and they sold him too. Only things left from the big tank is a silver aro and a gar of some sort. They said the jag was getting a little fiesty and that sparked the change. When he said $20, I couldn't throw it at him fast enough. I'm happy.

Only bad thing about the fish so far is that he's not eating. They fed him feeders and Hikari Food sticks at the store. I have about 20 convict fry in with him and try food sticks every day. He ripped the tail off one con but didn't eat it. What gives?

The jag in my avatar is about the same size but I wouldn't sell mine ever! You got a steal on him! try feeding him omega one freeze dried krill or shrimp, or market shrimp once he's settled in his new home. Good luck with your newest member of the family!!
