just keep your eyes open as they get older. right now not an issue. at 4" they can become sexually active. this when there aggressiveness starts kicking in.
 
male grow little faster and get bigger. looking perhaps 6 months down the line. perhaps longer, to many variables to give you an exact answer. i highly suggest you break with the google, look up jag fish and read about them.

Yea right now I'm not so worried but I am constantly watching these two and what they do

They're great fish, intelligent, active, wouldn't bother with much time towards aquascaping, they will make the tank the way they want it, a couple good hiding spots Will be a must later on in case they get ugly towards each other
