I just recently bought this jaguar cichlid and was wondering what can I buy to make it more comfortable, things such as sand? caves? plants? decorations basically. Also what do you feed your jaguar to make it big and strong and how can I bring out its color?

i feed my jag hikari massivore.. really brings out the colors along with bloodworms,shrimp,squid and mealworms.
Avoid decor but wood works well... no sand! jags love to dig which means gravel

yeah im putting in meal worms and guppies but he doesn't eat it, is it because hes getting use to the water?
yea if he just got put into the tank. just so you know he will need a huge tank 100g+ soon!

feeders are kept in horrible conditions and usually carry parasites which can kill your fish.
Unless your keep them in an other tank for a week or more and basically quarantine them.
BUT i dont do it. FEED hikari massivore and the other things i told you if you want a big colorful and most importantly healthy jag
