Try soaking prawn/shrimp in either bloodworm or season it with crushed pellets to get him used to the new tastes , one step at a time , never give up and go back a step is the key 
A little bit.
He still hasn't killed any of the cichlids, and is slowly taking to pellets. I've noticed that his aim when going to bite something is terrible, and he misses his food almost everytime he goes for a bite
Nice one its great that he's still playing nice and feeding on the pellets (don't feed anything different now untill he's eats them all the time) with regards to him missing food are his barbels intact ? Eyes are OK etc ? This will effect there aim
His eyes are perfect, and his barbels are intact. They're curled back a bit, but not bent or broken. I'll see if I can get a video of him trying to eat later tonight to post on here so you can see what I'm talking about.
