New JD!!

I got my new 1" Jack dempsey about 2 days ago. He is a cute little monster-in-training. I couldn't get many good pix at all. These pix don't do him justice. But, here they are!!!! Enjoy!!!!

Thanks for the comments, all. I think he might be a mix with a jewel cichlid because of the red lining on the top of his dorsal fin. You can't really see it, except in the last pic. What do you guys think??

nope, JDs have that, it's less noticeable when they're larger

Yup.. Both mine have that.. They are breeding pair.. but all the grown jd's i have seen have the red on top
