I think all baby juruense exhibit a kink in the upper caudal lobe extension. This is the norm.

A few updates of my guy. Proud to say he is finally taking cut tilapia, now to get him on massivore. I have heard the species is a picky eater and I was having difficulties getting him off bloodworm until he came down with a case of ich. After raising the temp to 86 he began feeding much more aggressively. Apologies for terrible shots and the big heater in the way. I needed 300watts to get the 20long to 86, unheated basement problems.
