I just noticed how long you've had them. They might not let you return them after 3 weeks.

If they were sold as piranha's I'd raise hell about being sold the wrong fish that can get 3' long.

post up pics but the easiest way is the jaw

pacu's are up and down (=) to crush food (seeds...)
and piranhas pivot (<) -to tear food

You will know right away after seeing pictures side by side....The Pacu has longer fins and a retarded face..lol....Plus if the fish is reaching lengths of 12 inches+ within the first year, you know you got a Pacu....
