love these little guys a LFS has several for the first time there $15 each if i remember right how much was yours ?
The lfs had it labeled as "Bumble Bee Catfish" They knew it wasn't a Bumble Bee Cat, but since they didn't have a price for it, they gave it to me for the price of a Bumble Bee Cat...$5.99
Very cool looking cat! I'm unfamiliar w/ the species but they're markings/pattern is quite lovely. I like that they stay small too.

I seen very few around. Last time I saw these was probably 8 years ago and then I just happened to see these guys randomly at a lfs.
Many similar catfish are called oil catfish. ALso called a honeycomb cat. My local importer just got a shipment in and many off these. The ones he brought in seem to have more spots and a lil smaller spots. Also labeled as oil catfish. Im also picking up a lil herd of these as well.

I actually just traded mine back into my LFS today. Neat little Catfish, but I like fish that don't hide all the time a lot more.
