Yeah. not sure where you read that. Hypans LOVE bloodworms. Breeders of L46 do advise against feeding whole bloodworms to fry, but at 1.5 inches they're more than capable of handling them whole. Live bloodworms are hard to come by around here; I feed frozen to all my hypans and they devour them.

Sometimes you don't have to read it if you have the opportunity to work with a few of them. It is a challenge to get them to eat at times and I have to cut the worms in small pieces or use a cooking strainer and filter the very small ones.

I should have been more specific and I apologize for that.
Zebras come all sizes from the wild including 1.2, 1.5 - 2 inch fish.

Note: I will not feed bloodworm afterwards just during acclimation, quarantine which normally takes 15 days sometimes longer, I medicate the worms prior feeding.
Then I move to a 100% pallet diet, New Life Spectrum Thera A+ its my favorite to keep them nice and healthy.
