Yea I guess it is up to the keeper. I am sure a tank that someone spent a lot on looks nicer. I usually just go with the bare necessities and it seemed to usually keep my leos happy.

Yeah, I respect that, especially in people who keep several specimens and it would cost them an absurd amount to create "show tanks" for them all. I have a few show tanks in my home, and the rest are housed away from sight and has a more utilitarian appeal about it.

These are my only lizards, and since it's a present I'm gonna make a nice show enclosure.

I 2 more quick questions regarding these guys.

1) There are 2 of them (of course) ad one is about 1/2" longer and looks like it weighs a bit more. The larger one just hangs out in his moist hide while the other is out tearing up some crickets. Every once in a while I see it snag one, but for the most part the little guy eats way more. Is this just because the little one is growing more, and the larger doesn't feel the need to eat as much?

2) When I say the little one eats, I mean he EATS. He will eat like 15-20 crickets in a sitting (they're kinda small) or the whole bowl of meal worms. Other then being crazy expensive, is this normal?

nicee, now show me the whole set up :grinno:

PATIENCE! My background is coming in tomorrow, so I should be good to with the finishing touches.

You wouldn't have asked Michelangelo to reveal his frescos before he was finished right? :) j/k

How old are they? If they're still growing they will eat more often then adults will. My babies are eating machines. I swear they'll eat till they pop sometimes.

About 4-5", don't know the age

They sure don't look full grown, but it seems like the smaller is eating the recommended amount for 2!

lol, that's been tough. I've gotten the larger of the two to start coming out for mealworms, although she still isn't super excited about crickets. I guess it's a start.
