I keep socolofi , yellow labs , blue acei , auratus , red zebra, electric blue , peacocks and other African Cichlids. I was originally feeding them HBH super soft spirulina pellets and African cichlid attack. They had pretty good coloring but I made the switch to NLS cichlasomma 3mm and over the cours of the past couple weeks their colors have really become vibrant and they all seem a lot happier. I would highly reccomend this stuff.
I am not a spokesperson I just thought I would write this because I had a thread asking about cichlasomma and since it was new noone seemed to have any info on it.
My opinion is it works great and all my cichlids go nuts over it. Beyond obvious health and immunity improvements the colors are really getting amazing.

Third...

WOW , When I asked before noone had heard of it lol. I intended to order the cichlid formula actually and somehow got mixed up. Good thing the stuff is absolutely amazing.

my cichlids didn't seem to like the 3 mm nls cichlosoma yet... even my Oscar, catfish and CK aren't too crazy about it but I think it has to do with what they're used to... I have my africans that are 4 in + on the 2 mm and and the smaller ones are on the .5 growth until they reach 2 in then they get 1.5 i am gonna retry the 3 mm though and see if they like it again... I don't think it matters as long as it's NLS lol

My lfs only has NLS Cichlid Formula and my cichlids love it.
There color has improved since I started feeding the NLS.
I used to feed them Hikari Cichlid Gold.
They were much larger pelets.
All of my cichlids seemed to enjoy the larger size though.

FYI - the NLS Cichlasoma formula is not new, it's been around for several yrs. IMO from the list of fish that you posted, you'd be better off with the 2mm Medium Fish formula. If the pellets are too large for the fish to swallow whole they tend to chew & expel a lot of fine particles, which ultimately end up in your filters. As an example, my 8-9" haps are fed the 2mm pellets, as some of the smaller fish in that tank would simply make a mess while attempting to eat the 3mm pellets.

Did not now that I was told it was new. Your right in ordering it i initially ordered the 2mm but they delivered 3mm. I got some regular cichlid formula on the way that is 2mm :headbang2
