Ok guys, am I the only person who's annoyed by this? I've been using NLS Thera A+ for a while now. I am getting floating poo from my plecos. It's like a jungle in my tank, with poo vines hanging off the top of the water everywhere! They get tangled up in my arowana's whisker and he ends up swimming with poo hanging off his mouth all day long. At first I thought maybe because some of the plecos has parasite infecting causing weird poo. Well, can confirm that's not the case.

From the good reviews, I just tried ken's fish sticks, both earthworm and the color max one. The fish seem to like them, no more hanging poo, but... it breaks up 1min after hitting the water and it's like a snowstorm! I can't see how anyone can stand using fish food like that. The filter will probably be clogged up everyother day.

Am I the only one with the floating/hanging poo problem from NLS? Anyone got better idea for good fish food that doesn't cause a mess?

Thanks in advance.

I cant tell you that you are the only one who has had that problem but personally that doesn't happen to my fish

I've been using Thera A for a long time and never had that issue. I wounder what would cause it?

You'll see the poo hanging upwards from the pleco, and when it finally releases (or for us, squeez!) the poo will go upwards. I've even seen bubbles come out with the poo! Happens to my L190, L282, L160, L273. Those are the ones I've seen in person, pretty sure the other larger ones are doing it too.

I feed mine mega fish formula and have never seen this happen.

I like it a lot more than Thera A and so do my plecos. It doesn't stink like crap like Thera A does and doesnt make the water stink.

Thanks Jackson, I'll give it a shot. I am just curious what causes it. All they eat is NLS and leftover cutup shrimp meant for the aro n' tigrinus.

Here's a sample, this is just a very small sample, sometimes it much much worse.
