Yeah, the knock on NLS is that their pellets tend to be too small.

FYI - New Life makes pellets as large as 7.5 mm. (Extra Large Fish formula)

Depends what you feeding. I use hikari and never used NLS but people that I talk to that have africans all swear by it. Although I'm about to give Omega One a try.

After converting my fish to NLS, I'll never go back. Ocean Nutrition pellets are also very good.

yeh i know.. sucks, as everyone knows the prices here in AUS are kinda inflated..

also comes in jumbo. as far as preference i pick nls as far my fish. they eat both but i get 5lb tubs for 49.00 as oppossed to $9-$10 for 8oz bgs 8 times a year.

Correct, New Life also sells a 1/2 wafer. A friend of mine feeds the wafers to his motoro, and the 7.5 mm Ex. Lg. Fish to his aro.

I've also successfully gotten south american puffers to eat 1mm and 3 mm formulas. It took 21 days before my RTG ate pellets. Wait him out.
