IM IN 20723 MARYLAND DOING A WATER CHANGE!
i have ordered some of this fish food and i was wondering who else uses this product. is it as good as hear it is? i found some on ebay in 5lb buckets at reasonable prices. after figuring out what i would normaly spend on hikari gold at lfs on sale, it comes out way cheaper and it seems to be a better quality product. so you guys let me know how it has worked for your fish. thanks;)
 
NLS is all I feed my fish now. I was using Hikari Gold+ and a bunch of other foods. Once I started using NLS, the fish colors became richer and the fish litterally jump out of the tank at feeding time.

The nice part about the color enhancement is that every new fish I add I know will look better in 30 days (or less).
 
I use it as my staple, colours are amazing. For fry growth be sure to supplement with some extra protein.
 
NLS's Grow has a minimum of 50% protein. It's a bit big for small fry, but can easily be crushed.

I don't think I own a single fish that dislikes their community pellets, and their algae wafers have also gone over well. I think the only product of theirs I haven't tried are the flakes, but i'd expect them to be good, as everything else they make seems to be very tasty to fish.
 
Agreed....I used the flakes on my community 60 and the fish would go nuts at feeding time.
 
I have both the really small NLS pellets and the NLS large cichlid formula. Does this stuff have sufficient protein/other nutrients to be a staple for my larger cichlids like my Vieja and Texas?
 
It has plenty of protein for almost any fish really. I only mentioned supplementing extra protein because even more would be better for young fry.
