Very nice. As for the roaches... Just tell your parents they:
1. can't climb smooth surfaces
2. no noise
3. no smell(seriously, my dubia colony in the hundreds doesn't smell half as bad as a box of crickets
4. very good for getting rid of leftovers :grinno:

Always loved Monitors as well!
I'm tempted to get some or some Madagasgan Hissing cockroaches either from my college or work but they'd be much too big for him to eat atm.

They're pretty hard for younger animals to eat, as opposed to Dubia, as they have a much thicker shell. Also, when it comes to multiplication, they come no where close to Dubia.

Some new pictures of him -

Nice monitor Boggy. Enjoy!
Thanks, am seriously getting into Monitors, and am doing a lot of reading up, i bought a good book on the Savanha & Grassland species today which is a fascinating read and have a book on order with work specifically on Boscs. I want to learn as much as i can :).

He looks sweet!
Thanks dude :).

I've been reading a few books on monitors and they've generally said that boscs love cork bark and thats what people generally tend to say so i decided to get him some, the cage does look rather packed out but he does still have a lot of floor space and he has a few hides so he'll feel more secure as he is still young.
