How wide is your 220 gonna be?

Filter suggestions.. Umm lots of it. Save time and just build a sump. You're gonna need it with that bio-load.

But I will tell you plan on upgrading tanks eventually as large rtc's can be hard to get rid of. Unless you like catfish fillet.

Yes, looks like everyone is telling me the sump is the best way to go. Anyone wanna help be build it? I'm hearing prices from $50 to $300 ??

One more pix I wanted to share ... I like this guy too (well, I like all my fish, but this guys got a really great personality). Very cool how the MF gallery adds the watermark, nice. Thanks for having me guys - nice forum, I read a lot, just don't post much ...

Sumps are really easy to make. Search the forum or look in the DIY section. Pricing depends on what you use. I'm thinking closer to 200.00-300.00 but it could be less. And for a good canister filter you'll pay that much anyways.

I kept one in a 180 for 8 years. Grew to only 32". ;) A 220 will last a while.

24" wide? If so then it must have had a great time in there. I figured your 220 was going to be 24 wide but if it's going to be 30 then that's pretty good. I did say the 220 would last for a while but I was assuming 24" width.
