New Lizard Species Found in Oriental Buffet

This is pretty incredible but I am willing to bet that it happens more than we think. Many scientists will start a research project at local markets to ask the natives where to find certain animals that are being sold there so I imagine that new species riddle these local markets.

A walk through a market in Africa or South East Asia is always better than any store I know.... ( I know what I am talking about, been there, done that )

I wondered the same thing but I think the author of the article misinterpreted what was being said since it did not make much sense in that context. I think it was meant to be in between two similar species and a possible subspecies with the cloning ability but I am not sure.
