you would want a bigger tank for a LMB growout tank wouldnt you?

it just needs to get to 5-9" and i will put it in my big tank...i want a bigger grow out tank but lack of a job and space now deam otherwise...in a yr or so i will have a 1100gal tank or bigger i haven't decided on how wide i will go yet...that will be my big fish tank...then if it is not big enough for the cats not to eat i will grow him out with some p-bass in a 180gal that is my current big tank...

10 sunfish left, one jumped out

lmb got to 4" and got moved to my big tank due to space there for about a week or two then got eatten 2 days ago...don't know what ate it aro, tsns, ck or gar but it is gone now...i might get a bigger one that can not get eatten...

Lol, man that bites. I sort of figured that would happen. Given local laws, its rather easy to go on another fishing trip to replace your loss. I hope the best for ya in the future.

You could always come grab my 9" lmb...but its a long drive for ya, especially for something that you have in the land of 10000 lakes all over.

just caught a 2" lmb and 11-2.5" sunfish including 2 hybrids...the sunnies are eventual food for my other fish, but the bass i will grow up...i first got it as food also, but after i got home i thought about it and now it is in a grow out tank...it will eventually go in a big tank with tsns, aro, gar...i want to get a lake sturgeon, maybe some pbass and a paddlefish and a few others yet to be deturmend....the lmb ate 2 ghost shrimps yesterday and a chunk of market shrimp today...i have had it for three days now...
Lake sturgeon, and paddlefish are out of the picture as they require MUCH cooler temps than aro's, tsn's, and pbass especially.

i guess i worded that weird...sturgeon and paddlefish would be in a diff set up from the aro and cats and p. bass

ya..it was a matter of time...i am debating on getting a bigger one or not cause i want p. bass more...idk...and i catch more then my share of lmbs and smallies...it was originally taken for gar food but i liked it...ethier way it works and it was in a dangerous tank...funny thing is that of all the edible sunfish the bass gets it and the 1 loss of sunfish was a suiside...looks like the sunnies are going to be there for a while now cause they started to "plate/disc" out
