What's the fish on the left in the first picture? Is that an Oscar? I cant tell

Yes that is a Oscar
I kept them in a 55 G for a month alone, then I add two plecos and some Dwarf cichlids they chased the dwarfs around for about another month and then I felt it would be safe to add them to my 135
so about two months
Great little longear you have there, they are awsome fish. I cannot take my eyes off mine his colors are so stunning. I don't know why people spend money on cichlids when they can get sunfish for free. 
Naw, I like cichlids too and keep a few myself. Great looking Midas as well BTW.
