Yep...I like the idea that the whole series was actually a Jack flash back, but I wanted more of a scientific ending. They said, in season 2, that the island wasn't purgatory and that they thought that would be an easy way out....and then they essentially did that anyway.

Yeah, but purgatory was still involved.
I just wanted more from a show that included tons of scientific theories and made you think and examine things so closely.
Don't get me wrong, I love the show and thought the finale was good, I just wanted a different ending, I guess. The more I think about it, the ending is perfectly logical considering the constant battle between spirituality and science, good and bad, etc.
I'm just bitter. Haha.
