New love for crays!

80gl cray tank.

P. clarkii (one red/orange, 2 white)

C. quad i think. Bought her thinking she was a blue clarkii, must have been only 1 at the time and in the same tank at the shop but obviously not clarkii. Still cute.

What do you guys think?

That would be Procambarus.clarkii. They are native to Southeastern United States but can be found as invasive species in other countries. They range in color from white to orange and everything in between.

Very nice crays and tank. I to have found a new love for crays. I have 4 white clarkii, 1 blue alleni. alot of selfcloners , 1 cherax species(tiger) and a few common feeder crays in a 55, upgrading to a 75 soon...

How do you refrain from adding fish to the tank? I like crayfish too (would someday like to own a destructor), but could never devote an entire tank larger than 5g to one.

Just about anything. As a staple algea waffers and shrimp pellets but i also add a cuddle bone for calcium.
