marbled goby gets to around 20 inches.
Water cows are almost identical in care required and behavior to marbled gobies, they just have a different coloration and come from different continent (Central America instead of Asia I believe). Just like marbled gobies, WCs are ambush predators. What makes them really cool is their coloration - it is one of the very few fish species that has a lighter back with darker colored belly, while just about every other fish is colored in reverse for camouflage. It is speculated that water cows attract prey by mimicing dead fish, as if floating "belly up". Smaller fish see a carcass at the bottom of the river, apprach it for a snack, and teh WC pounces on them
