New Marble pair

There is nothing "Average" about those. While they may not be PERFECt, they still are great specimens.

I think they look pretty good. I would consider the female if I had more room for larger marbleds but I do not. I like the male a lot for sure the nicer of the two IMO. Obviously here in the states we are finally starting to get a good supply of nice marbleds. Definitely not like when I first started looking into marbleds 2-3 years ago and nice ones were real hard to dig up here stateside!

Nice ones over here ARE still very difficult to come by. All the drama BS around here has drove off the only good sources for them.

Why do you think we have to resort to importing from Thailand?

I guess it just goes to show you we all have different tastes. To me that female looks more like a Boesemani then any of my other Marbles. I'd gladly trade that male with a decent handfull of cash for the female. The female has crazy color to her. The male to me looks faded out compared to her.

They are both settling in nice, and began putting away the shrimp this morning.

Looks like I'll be hanging on to them, my tires hurt.

The female does have great color but the males faded look just adds contrast to the awesome pattern on his back. That is the great thing about marbles you can have two animals be beautiful for completely different reasons.
