So to cycle my 180 i put 50 feeder fish in my tank they have been in there for about 3 weeks. Last night i put one male and two female auratus's in the tank along with two bumblebee cichlids. They arnt messing with my feeder fish at all is this normal or are they not agressive? Iv'e read they are very mean fish.

how long have they been in there? I did the same thing with danios they were in there all day no problems, but in the morning I found two dead headless stuck to the filter.

put em in last night

Thanks for all the advice but now i think one of my bumblebee's is getting harrased/stressed out by the male auratus. After being chased around the tank a couple of times i put in some food to see if the male was hungry everything in the tank went to eat except my bumblebee he is just swimming up and down the side of my tank the male auratus is not messing with him at all. And usaully the two bumblebee's swim together but now one is just swimming up and down and the side of the tank while the other swims normaly. He has been doing it for 10minutes now. Should i put the male arautus in my 55gal tank with one 17 inch oscar and 1ft
pleco for a while? would it calm him down? Help iv'e heared of fish dying of stress. Tank parameters are perfect nothing is wrong all the other fish are fine. help!

Give them a little more time; they are just getting used to the tank themselves. Do you usually feed them live fish? When I used to have Mbunas, they much for live feeders.

I just re-read my post and realized I did a horrible job of phrasing that.

I was trying to say that I don't know Mbunas as really big fans of live feeders.

mbuna ar vegetarians for the most part. It would not be good to feed them live food, or even food with too much protean from meat. As mike said make sure there are plenty of places to hide for the fish.
